OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Dominica Houston Association Scholarship Fund was founded on the belief that any motivated individual in need should have the opportunity to further his or her education. By removing some of the financial burdens associated with going to, surviving in, and graduating from college, the Dominica Houston Association Scholarship plays a vital role in increasing college access and success for many motivated yet underserved youth and young adults.
OUR GOAL
“DHA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1996 by Dominicans who migrated to the greater Houston area. The organization was created to provide assistance to Dominicans in need and distress; to unify Dominicans abroad and promote our rich culture.”
