Welcome

The Dominica Houston Association was founded in 1995, by a group of Dominican residents in the greater Houston area, with idea to unite and bring Dominicans and their friends together, to promote our rich culture and heritage. Since then we have stayed firm, persevered, and have been very active in the community, providing charitable assistance both locally, and at home in Dominica.

I feel very proud and honored to be president, and to lead this dynamic organization into the 21st century. I feel blessed to be surrounded by a team of dedicated, enthusiastic members and colleagues, who share the same goals and vision.

We are glad that you have landed here, and we encourage you to share your comments with us, here on the World Wide Web. We look forward to also hearing from other Dominican and Caribbean organizations from around the world.

As president, I pledge to do everything in my power to advance this organization to be one of the leading groups in its class, and to serve my constituents with the integrity and the values to continue to succeed in our mission

Mission Statement

To unite and foster relations between Dominicans and friends in the Greater Houston Area. DHA, Inc. shall operate as a non-profit corporation, and will assist Dominican citizens, nationals and their entities in the Houston community and elsewhere, that are in need and distress as deemed by the Executive Body and members. We aspire to be the model Dominican organization for the twenty-first century, dedicated to enriching the cultural, recreational, educational and social activities of our members and our community.
